CFO's Overview
Efficient and well-designed dashboards are critical for accessing and managing a company’s information. Speed and clarity are essential for both finance and operations personnel. Here is the main page that you have access to when using SuiteEngine HomeBuilder software:
First, you choose one of the multiple companies you are responsible for to see this dashboard, divided into the following sections:
- Lots and Models Section: Starting from the top left-hand side are Phases: go there to manage the whole Phase or go straight to Lots to manage finances or operations.
- Models — they contain the Model Budget that is carried by the Model to the Lot.
- Color Chart Section: Next are Color Charts, allowing the customer to make final choices. Addendums are choices made after the standard Color Chart is completed.
- Operations Section: Manage all Planning Lines for the company in bulk. Set parameters for Vendor Contracts that will feed into the prices you pay for work performed. Workflows consist of Task Operations containing Construction Items required to build the house. Construction Work Orders notify Vendors to start work as per agreed contract parameters. Collect Lot installments and book them against the Lot integrated with Customer Relationship Management information. Key dates specify the planned construction timelines.
- After-sales Service Section: Manage Inspections, Inspectors, and deficiencies in one spot. Issue Work Orders to address issues. If you choose to use our HomeBuilder Portal—integrated with Business Central/HomeBuilder—you can let customers and your admin interact regarding dates and times, issue resolution, etc. in the Portal. All relevant data will automatically end up in the Business Central Database.
- Ongoing Purchases Section: Manage purchases on an ad-hoc basis or use Planning Lines tied to vendor contracts and (Lot) budgets.
- Items Section: Base Contract Items describe specific work to complete a house. Color Chart Items are used for Selection Packages and After-sales for Warranty related.
- HomeBuilder Maintenance Section: Cost Groups and Cost details are used for reporting. In use are also Lot and Phase dimensions. You can easily create additional ones for your specific reporting requirements. The system can store document images.
A centralized and logically structured dashboard right on the front page is an ally for CFOs and operations personnel. See if it could work for your company and contact us to get a system presentation.
