Portal Instructions for Homebuyers

This section explains the HomeBuilder Portal functionality available to home buyers. It will explain the menu items available on the left-hand side. We can customize which elements described below are available to your customers.

Diary

When you- home buyers- log into the Portal, you will see Diary as part of the main menu. After clicking, a non-editable diary log is visible:

Under Home, it is possible to see the same picture under Recent Pictures.

Installments

Installments reflect the installments you paid that are posted in the Business Central HomeBuilder software your Developer is using:

Selection Packages

These are open or released Selection Packages from Suite Engine HomeBuilder showing your choices:

Schedule

It is a schedule of tasks required for the construction if made available by your Developer:

Service:

The service menu displays the list of Service calls. “New Service Calls” will allow you to log the issue. The system will send it directly to the home builder.

It can be retrieved in HomeBuilder under Inspections:

Weather

This is simply a history of weather and the forecast (highlighted)

Chats on the Home Buyer Side

Chats can be started by accessing the Chats menu and clicking Start new Chat:

Chats can take place between Home Builder and all buyers or privately:

You can attach a file or take a picture with the camera. Once complete, click Post.
