Updating to the Latest HomeBuilder Version

To update go to “Dynamics 365 Business Central admin center”.

You can access the admin center from the cog, top right of the BC main page, then click Admin Center.

Note that this is a Dynamics 365 BC Admin Center and NOT a Microsoft 365 Admin Center

• You should land on the Environments page, and click on it.
• Once in the Product environment click on the Apps button top left.
• Scroll down to the App that you want to update, click the “Install Update” hyperlink. It will only be a clickable hyperlink if there is a later version to be installed than you currently have.
• For Homebuilder updates, start with updating the Suite Engine Common Base.

The update should start and will give status updates until it turns to “Up to Date”.

Verifying your Product Version

Should you just want to know the version number and do not need to update the system or do not have access to the Admin Centre you can still find out your version number.

Search for “Extension Management”. The version number is on the line.
